Gumpert Apollo - is a sports car formerly produced by German automaker Gumpert Sportwagenmanufaktur GmbH. The Apollo is a mid-engine, rear wheel drive two-seater constructed on a tubular chromoly frame, with carbon fiber body panels. Gumpert claims the design of the Apollo is optimized so that the car could drive upside-down in a tunnel if driven at high speeds (over 190 mph), this has not been tested.

Aston Martin One 77 - is a two-door coupé built by Aston Martin. It first appeared at the 2008 Paris Motor Show, although deliveries began at the beginning of 2011. The top speed was estimated to be 200 mph (320 km/h) but actual tests in December 2009 showed a figure of 220.007 mph (354.067 km/h), with a 0–60 mph time of approximately 3.5 seconds. There was a limited run of 77 cars built.

Lamborghini Aventador - is a two-door, two-seater sports car publicly introduced by Lamborghini at the Geneva Motor Show on 28 February 2011. The Aventador was designed to replace the ten-year-old Murciélago as the new flagship model in the Lamborghini lineup starting in 2011.

R8 V10 Spyder is the convertible version of Audi 's mid-engined, 10-cylinder R8 supercar. As with its fixed-roof sibling, the R8 V10 Spyder is based on the same platform as the Lamborghini Gallardo.

The Pagani Huayra is an Italian mid-engined sports car produced by Pagani. It is named after Huayra-tata, which means "God of the winds" in Quechua, the official language of the Inca Empire.

Hennessey Venom GT - is manufactured by Texas-based Hennessey Performance Engineering. The Venom GT set an average 0–300 kilometres per hour (0–190 mph) acceleration time of 13.63 seconds. The car also set an unofficial record for 0–200 mph (0–320 km/h) acceleration at 14.51 seconds, making it the unofficial fastest accelerating car in the world.

Koenigsegg Agera R - is a mid-engined sports car made by Swedish car manufacturer Koenigsegg. The name Agera comes from the Swedish verb 'agera' which means "to act” or "to take action". The Agera is powered by an in-house developed 5.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine which produces 940 hp at 6900 rpm and 810 lb·ft of torque at 4000 rpm.

SSC Ultimate Aero XT - is an American-built mid-engine sports car by SSC North America (formerly known as Shelby SuperCars). The higher-performance limited-production version formerly held the Guinness Book of World Records record for being the fastest production car in the world. The record is currently held by Bugatti Veyron Super Sport.

McLaren F1 - may be the greatest supercar ever built. It has a 231-mph top speed, a central driving position, and extravagant price ($810,000). Revealed to the public in May 1992, it was on the road by 1994, and in the winner’s circle at LeMans by 1995. "Its performance and general ability simply defy imagination," wrote journalist Paul Frere, a former Formula 1 driver and LeMans winner.

Zenvo ST1 - is a high performance sports car manufactured by Danish company Zenvo. The Zenvo ST-1 has a turbocharged and supercharged 7-litre V8 engine that generates 1,250 hp at 6,900 rpm

Jaguar C-X75 - Unveiled at the 2010 Paris Motor Show, the 778 hp Jaguar C-X75 was powered by four electric motors whose batteries were recharged by a pair of diesel-fueled turbine engines. Jaguar was serious about building a limited number, and for a time it seemed likely to happen. The business case wasn’t there and Jaguar ditched the project entirely.

Lamborghini Huracan - Lamborghini has unveiled a supercar that can reach a top speed of 202 mph. The aptly named "Huracan"—Spanish for "Hurricane"—is Lamborghini's latest replacement for the company's iconic Gallardo. While there is no price published yet, the Huracan is expected to start at more than $250,000.

BMW i8 Spyder Green - Next spring will see the arrival of the 2015 BMW i8, the i8 Spyder will follow in late 2015. BMW revealed the carmaker has now officially approved production of the drop-top plug-in hybrid sports car.

Bugatti Veyron - As Bugatti winds down Veyron production for good, it launched the Legend series of uniquely modified Gran Sport Vitesse models specifically for collectors.

Ferrari LaFerrari - is not a car you’re going to see every day. Each of the 499 scheduled for production have already found a home.
