1,800-Year-Old Roman Ring found in U.K.

An ornate gold ring dating back to ancient Roman times has been found near the town of Crewkerne, England. The face of the ring is black onyx with an engraving of the Roman god of victory driving two horses.

The ring likely dates to sometime between A.D. 200 and A.D. 300. It was found in the middle of a stash of 60 ancient Roman coins.
